There are 7 different room types to choose from, some having fireplaces, whirlpool tubs, and there is even a garden area with a hot tub for general use. The Inn has 2 lovely common areas with fireplaces and a library, and a strikingly elegant dining room, complete with a walk out glass patio for dining. The Inn has an excellent location being 1 block from Main Street and walking distance to all Ouray's unique shops, restaurants, hiking trails, hot springs, Via Ferrata, Ice Park, and so much more. In the winter months, the China Clipper has been said to resemble a Hallmark movie with its romantic, magical architecture up against the snow. Ouray was voted the Outdoor Recreation Capital of Colorado so it is truly a year round adventure for tourists. It is also close to skiing in Telluride and Durango, and has crosscountry skiing right in the area, along with snow shoeing and ice skating.
